You dream of finding the special thrill of modern jazz, and the dazzling emotions of exploding arts of the 1920’s and 30’s? PARIS Unlimited has prepared a three day program of a la carte visits to the Palais de la Porte Dorée, the architectural wonders of the rue Mallet Stevens, the Fondation Le Corbusier, the Apartment of Jeanne Lanvin exhibited today at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, to mention only a few of the fascinating remaining elements of the creativity of the period. Whatever your special interest, architecture, sculpture, interior decoration, the climax to the program will be a private visit of an art gallery, designer or artist inspired by the techniques of this still recent past.
18th CENTURY AT THE LOUVRE
The Department of Decorative Arts of the Louvre has reconstituted its period rooms in their natural setting offering a spectacular panorama of interior design from the reign of Louis XIV up to the French Revolution. This new approach offers a refreshing return to the sources. PARIS Unlimited’s guests will have the privilege to be guided in The Louvre by an art historian who will give them the keys of understanding of this luxurious art of living.
VISIT THE CHÂTEAU DE CHANTILLY DIFFERENTLY
Discover all year around the hidden treasure of the Château de Chantilly and rely upon PARIS Unlimited to organize your program that reserves pleasure for everyone in the family or for your group of friends. Horse fans will get a private tour of the splendid stables and enjoy horse riding in the forest or watch a polo match. Art amateurs will follow the curator on an exceptional tour of the impressive collection of paintings and objects left by The Duc D’Aumale. INITIATION TO THE BEST IN THE ART OF PRODUCING CHAMPAGNE
Producer of champagne since 1811, Perrier-Jouët sits on an exceptional vineyard located in the “Champagne magic triangle” and makes one of the most refined wine with a floral, stylish character and a touch of feminine charm symbolised by the anemone flowers that ornate the bottles of the Cuvée Belle Epoque. PARIS Unlimited accompanies its Clients on a unique excursion to Epernay where they will be hosted by Perrier-Jouët at the Château Belle Epoque. They will enjoy a magnificent lunch preceded by Champagne tasting in its elegant Art Nouveau atmosphere. In the afternoon, they will tour the exceptional vineyards in vintage cars and visit the cellars, guided by the wine master explaining all about the long honoured tradition of producing Perrier-Jouët. Should they wish to make an order, they will be invited by the wine master to participate in the making of their own special cuvée.
FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON & MUSÉE PICASSO
With the recently opened Fondation Louis Vuitton which attracts a huge success, Paris has acquired a new contemporary space for art and culture and an iconic building for the 21st century. Rising in the sky of the Bois de Boulogne, this magnificent vessel symbolizes the cultural calling of France according to its architect, Frank Gehry. We combine this private visit for our guests with a lecturer’s guided tour of the Musée Picasso in the Marais that just reopened its doors after a complete renovation. The museum offers twice as large exhibition area, 500 works of Picasso are exposed and represent all the facets of the master’s work.
